Nominations are now open for the ‘Order of Macarthur Awards’ which recognise volunteers in the Macarthur Community, who give their time selflessly for the betterment of the people in our community.

This contribution can be anything from work in the community, involvement in charity organisations, schools, sporting organisations or even the arts.

The Order of Macarthur has six categories

• Community Group

• Young Citizen (aged 18 years and under)

• Citizen (aged 19 years and over)

• The Spirit of Macarthur Award

• The Group or Individual Sporting Achievement Award

• Environmental Leadership Award
